Family Plan
Most other websites talk about the thrill aspect of Cedar Point, which is only half of the park. Cedar Point has three areas just for kids! In this article I will discuss the family side of the Point. This article/strategy is different than the other strategies on this site. Unlike the other strategies, I didn't write this one alone. Countless kids and families  gave us tips, suggestions and more. Since most kiddy/family rides never have long lines, it would be impossible to tell you the best time to ride. This article lists several tips, opinions and suggestions BY families and kids FOR families and kids.

A Few Tips:

- Sunscreen is a must!

- Strollers are a necessity. They are available for rent in front of   Demon Drop as well as next to the Joe Cool store in Camp Snoopy. As silly as this may sound, we recommend strollers for any one 7 years old and under. Remember that an average person walks about 4 miles at Cedar Point (to walk around the park once, it's just under 2 miles).

- Bring your own food. Since most young kids can be picky eaters, it is best to pack their favorite sandwich and bring it for lunch at the park.

- Take a mid-day break. Most kids (and some adults!) cannot make it past 7 o'clock so we suggest to take a half hour break around 2 or 3 o'clock. If you have a hotel reservation, by this time your room should be ready and you could take a nap or go for a swim. You will be very surprised about how refreshing this can be. Even if don't have a hotel reservation, go back to your car (this is a great time to have a little car picnic, with food you brought) or go and watch one of Cedar Point's world class shows.
