Beating The Crowd Tips

  • Opening Day this year will have slightly higher crowds due to Top Thrill Dragster.

  • The first two weeks in May, while Cedar Point is open, it is almost empty since most people are still in school.

  • Sundays in June are nearly empty we believe this is due to graduation, end of school year functions and parties.

  • The first couple weeks of June are heavy, during the day because many schools plan end of the year trips. But after 6 P.M. (the time when most schools left) the park really empties out!

  • The last week of August the park is almost empty, thus short waits.

  • Closing Weekend is usually has heavy crowds, but last year it was PACKED.
